Orange Chia Delight

Currently my favorite treat. I've gotten some pretty good oranges lately and am also on a chia kick. I remembered recently this drink I had in Mexico. I have no idea what was in that drink but my Orange Chia delight reminds me of it in a really good way. Plain water tends to move though my body really quickly, sometimes that's good but sometimes it would be nice to have my cells actually feel more hydrated. When I drink this yumminess I actually feel it helping my cells assimilate and utilize the water I drink.  #DesertLife. I especially like how pulp from the orange helps to keep the chia more evenly distributed. 

Orange Chia Delight

  • 1 Orange juiced (about 1/3 cup)
  • 2 TBS Chia Gel*  
  • 1 TBS Aloe
  • 8 oz. Water

Mix well & Enjoy!

Orange Peel Powder for Bright, Clear Skin
Orange Peel Powder can make a lovely exfoliant for skin. I suggest using it intermittently for brightening and clarifying the skin. Mix Orange Peel Powder with water, aloe or yogurt and gently massage into your skin. Rinse and follow with your favorite toner, serum and moisturizer.

*Chia gel is easy make and my preferred method fro adding chia to drinks & smoothies. Take a heavy TBS of  dry Chia seeds and soak overnight in @ 1 cup water. (10 minutes if your'e in a hurry). Chia gel will keep for about 1 week in the fridge.
